Project Description: Rian’s project was based on a summative assessment task that required a performance-based assessment. He chose Punjabi dance as his art form and used the Super 3 model to research it. Through this project, Rian showcased his understanding by sharing the significance of this traditional art form and exploring ways to preserve it under the transdisciplinary theme, How we express ourselves. The central idea was that people may use different art forms to express their culture. He demonstrated the Learner Profile Attributes of being open-minded, communicative, and knowledgeable. Additionally, he enhanced his social skills, research skills, and communication skills while working in a small group. This dance performance project was a key part of his summative assessment task.
