Project Outcome: As part of their energy unit PBL, students designed balloon-powered hovercrafts and applied the scientific method to conduct their experiments and analyze results.

Project Description: The balloon hovercraft showcased how air pressure could be harnessed for smooth motion with minimal energy use. By inflating a balloon, students demonstrated the principle of air propulsion, where the air escaped from the balloon and created a cushion of air beneath the hovercraft, reducing friction and allowing it to glide effortlessly across a surface. This simple yet effective model highlighted the potential of using air pressure as an energy-efficient method for movement, offering insights into sustainable technologies and the importance of minimizing energy consumption in transportation.
