Project Outcome: Contributions to the Early Years program, interactive sessions with the Grades 5-6 Literature Club, and the publication of her work. Redefining early childhood literature by introducing culturally meaningful storytelling that reflects India’s traditions.

Project Description: This year-long project, driven by Vivaana’s passion for Language and Literature, delves into the deeper meanings and symbolism found in nursery rhymes and fables. Sparked by a discussion in her Language class, Vivaana researched the historical and cultural contexts of these works, uncovering colonial influences in traditional literature. Inspired to create an Indian alternative, she wrote original rhymes and fables that celebrate India’s rich heritage, aiming to offer a culturally relevant and meaningful perspective in early childhood literature.
