Project Outcome: The expected outcome of this project is a portfolio showcasing their learning journey, including their experiments with different painting styles and a final artwork that represents their growth as an artist. This final product will demonstrate their ability to apply new techniques creatively and effectively.

Project Description: The project focused on painting and exploring different forms of painting as part of the unit Identity under the transdisciplinary theme Who We Are. In this unit, students identified their abilities and interests, reflecting on what they wanted to build upon and gain deeper knowledge about. Based on their personal interests, they selected painting as their Project-Based Learning (PBL) topic. This project, a unit requirement, was designed to foster self-awareness and skill enhancement while allowing students to express their creativity.

Over the course of 18 dedicated slots, students explored various painting techniques, styles, and materials to develop their artistic skills. They researched different painting forms, experimented with a variety of mediums, and practiced techniques to refine their abilities.

Through hands-on activities, students discovered how different techniques can lead to unique artistic expressions. The process involved self-exploration, guided practice, interactions with experts, and peer feedback, all of which contributed to enhancing their understanding and skills in the art of painting.
