Project Outcome: Healthy food items through fireless cooking
Project Description: As part of the unit Who We Are, the student undertook a Project-Based Learning (PBL) experience centered around healthy food items using fireless cooking. Driven by an interest in nutrition and wellness, they explored various recipes that required no use of fire, such as salads, smoothies, energy bites, and sandwiches. Through this project, they deepened their understanding of balanced diets, the nutritional value of ingredients, and creative ways to prepare healthy meals safely and independently. The process allowed them to enhance essential life skills such as planning, measuring, and presentation, while also reflecting on the connection between food, health, and personal choices. This hands-on exploration served as a meaningful expression of interests and contributed to the overall growth and self-awareness.
