Project Outcome: Tensegrity stand- using wood and wire

Project Description: The project, rooted in the Materials unit, centered around understanding and manipulating materials to solve real-world problems. As part of a PBL inquiry, the student observed a need within the classroom environment and proactively sought a solution. Through thoughtful exploration and comparison of three different materials, the student designed and constructed a Tensegrity stand. This innovative creation not only solved the identified problem but also highlighted the student’s creativity, critical thinking, and practical application of learned concepts—showcasing a strong connection between inquiry-based learning and real-life problem-solving.
