Project Outcome: Innovative Robotics
Project Description: Aditya, Sarthak, and Atman’s project showcased two remarkable robotic creations that demonstrate both engineering ingenuity and programming skills. The first part of their project featured a LEGO stair-climbing robot, designed to navigate stairs using LEGO components. This innovative creation incorporated principles of motion, balance, and sensor integration, allowing the robot to overcome the complex challenge of stair navigation. It highlighted the versatility of LEGO in building functional robots while offering hands-on learning in robotics.
The second part of the project introduced the Quarky Mars Rover, a miniature version of NASA’s Mars Rovers. Equipped with servo motors to control its wheels and head, this rover can move and be programmed using PictoBlox, a coding education software. The team’s work on this project allowed them to explore the intersection of robotics, programming, and space exploration, providing a valuable educational experience in both the practical and theoretical aspects of robotics and coding.
