Project Outcome: Grade 1 Addition
Project Description: As part of a personal project-based learning (PBL) initiative within the Digital Media unit, Aarika showcased her proficiency in using both Story Jumper and Canva. She creatively designed a digital storybook using Story Jumper, demonstrating her artistic and technical abilities. Additionally, Aarika used Canva to create an engaging presentation to teach Grade 1 students the concept of addition. Through this, she executed her lesson plan effectively, helping young learners understand basic math while also promoting their digital literacy. This project not only enhanced Aarika’s skills but also highlighted her ability to take meaningful action by teaching and supporting younger students.
