Project Description: The project on endangered animals was part of the Sharing the Planet unit, with a focus on polar bears. The student researched their habitat, challenges, and human actions to aid their conservation. Over approximately two class sessions, the student used articles and online resources to understand the plight of polar bears. The outcome was a comprehensive presentation or chart detailing critical issues such as habitat loss due to climate change and human impact, along with actionable steps for conservation. Motivated by a curiosity about polar bears, the student aimed to deepen their understanding and raise awareness about conservation challenges and solutions.
