Project Description: The project involves creating an artwork of a body on a canvas, keeping in mind the different parts learned in biology. An open rib cage will be added to symbolize the imprisonment of self-love and care. Natural beauty elements such as flowers, mushrooms, and butterflies will be included to convey that this is normal and beautiful, emphasizing that there is nothing to be afraid of. Eyeballs will be placed around the body to represent the sexual gaze and the feeling of insecurity in an environment where one is constantly judged. Gold foil will be applied after the painting to highlight the true meaning of the artwork. Gold, being an element in the periodic table, has properties like luster and malleability, which allow it to be pressed into thin shapes, such as foil, making things more beautiful. This artwork aims to demonstrate the science behind art, showing how the physical properties of elements like gold and silver are beneficial to humankind in various ways, including art. By creating a canvas painting with gold and/or silver leaf, the project will illustrate how these precious elements are used to decorate sweets, regulate spacecraft temperature, and enhance artistic creations.

Project Outcome: Artwork of a body, on a canvas, keeping in mind the different parts we learn in biology.
