Project Description:
Devarsh Dandawala, Dhyan Naik, and Jashraj Modi undertook this group project to explore biodiversity with a focus on the critically endangered species, the Vaquita. After learning about how species survive and the impact of human actions on their habitats, the students conducted research to understand the causes behind the Vaquita’s declining population. The project involved studying environmental threats, particularly habitat destruction, and raising awareness about the importance of conservation.
Project Outcome:
As the final outcome, the students created a model along with an informative poster to spread awareness about the Vaquita and the challenges it faces. Through this project, they developed a deeper understanding of biodiversity and the consequences of human impact on ecosystems. The activity enhanced their research, collaboration, and presentation skills while also fostering a sense of environmental responsibility.
