Project Outcome: Terrariums
Project Description: This year-long project focused on successfully designing, constructing, and maintaining a series of self-sustaining, airtight terrariums, each observed over a continuous six-month period. Throughout the project, the student built a total of ten terrariums and meticulously documented the ecological processes unfolding within each closed system. The primary goal was to establish and sustain thriving, visually appealing ecosystems within airtight glass containers, demonstrating an understanding of ecological balance, long-term maintenance, and the interdependence of living and nonliving components in a sealed environment.
