Project Outcome: LEGO Ford Mustang

Project Description:
This self-initiated project showcased the student’s initiative, creativity, and perseverance as they independently constructed a detailed LEGO Ford Mustang model at home. Driven by a personal interest in engineering design, automobiles, and hands-on building, the student spent several days studying complex instructions, organizing hundreds of LEGO pieces, and assembling the model step by step. Throughout the process, they demonstrated patience, fine motor skills, time-management, and critical thinking, particularly when resolving structural challenges and ensuring the proper functioning of moving parts such as wheels and doors. The project connected closely with Design and Technology and broader STEM learning, as it reinforced concepts of mechanical structures, symmetry, and precision. Completed over several focused days at home, this project highlighted the student’s dedication and passion for innovation and design.
