Project Outcome: Cook book and demonstration
Project Description: The project focused on Cooking under the unit Identity, where students explored and researched fireless cuisines to understand how food connects to personal and cultural identity. Through this Project-Based Learning (PBL) experience, students discovered how ingredients, preparation methods, and food preferences reflect individual choices, traditions, and lifestyles. They experimented with a variety of fireless recipes—ranging from salads and sandwiches to energy bites and smoothies—gaining insights into nutrition, creativity, and presentation. Over 18 dedicated slots, students planned, prepared, and documented their dishes, while also reflecting on how these recipes represented their own backgrounds or interests. This hands-on exploration not only enhanced their culinary skills but also deepened their understanding of how food can serve as a meaningful expression of who we are.
