Unit Question: How can an MYP student, Shahraan Virani, develop effective marketing strategies to enable Sandip Bhai Khakrawala (a blind hawker) to compete with highly competitive snack industries like Haldirams and Bikaji?
This unit encouraged students to explore creative and inclusive solutions for real-world business challenges. Shahraan developed effective marketing strategies for Sandip Bhai Khakrawala, a blind hawker. The goal was to help Sandip compete with established snack industry giants such as Haldirams and Bikaji, utilizing innovative marketing techniques that promote his products and highlight his unique story, while also addressing the challenges posed by his visual impairment. The unit focused on the intersection of business skills, social awareness, and inclusive strategies.
