Project Outcome: The outcome of this project will be a visually appealing diorama, representing the student’s interest, creativity, and knowledge in their selected area.
Project Description: This project focused on Diorama Paper Craft and was rooted in the unit Identity under the transdisciplinary theme Who We Are (PBL). Designed to foster personalized learning, the project encouraged students to explore their individual interests and abilities by selecting a topic that resonated with their passion and curiosity. Although it was a unit requirement rather than a self-initiated task, students took ownership of their learning by choosing a specific area to delve deeper into. Over the course of 18 dedicated slots, students researched, planned, and created their dioramas. They engaged in brainstorming, sketching designs, selecting appropriate materials, and constructing their models using paper craft techniques. The final outcome—a visually appealing diorama—reflected each student’s creativity, knowledge, and personal interests. In addition to deepening their understanding of their chosen topic, students enhanced essential skills such as fine motor coordination, spatial awareness, and problem-solving. This hands-on experience served as a meaningful journey of self-exploration and skill development, culminating in a unique representation of each learner’s identity.
