Project Description: The Eco-Friendly Adhesive Creation project aims to develop natural glue alternatives to promote sustainability and reduce dependence on synthetic materials. This project is part of the materials unit in the Transdisciplinary Theme “How the World Works,” integrating chemistry, biology, and engineering principles.

Initiated by students’ interest in sustainability and materials experimentation, the project involves:

– Researching natural ingredients with adhesive properties.

– Developing formulations by experimenting with ingredient combinations.

– Testing and evaluating the performance and eco-friendliness of the adhesives.

– Refining formulations based on test results and feedback.

Project Outcome: Creation of a range of eco-friendly natural glue formulations, each offering a sustainable alternative to conventional adhesives. Students gained valuable hands-on experience in research, formulation development, testing, and presentation skills.
