Project Description: The project, focused on cooking, falls under the transdisciplinary theme “Who We Are” and the unit “Identity.” As part of the unit requirement, students identified their interests and abilities, chose a skill to develop, and ultimately presented a product in front of their parents. One student chose to create a Mexican Salad. This project-based learning approach celebrated and showcased their learning about personal interests and abilities through a hands-on, practical activity.
