Project Outcome: Awareness of an ‘Open Dialogue’ about Sexuality Education fostered at school
Project Description: Hitaishi’s individual project focused on the critical topic of sexual education, exploring its role in fostering informed decision-making, promoting an understanding of consent, and helping adolescents feel comfortable with their changing bodies during puberty. The project emphasized the importance of sexual education in addressing these issues and highlighted the positive impact it can have on young people’s emotional and physical well-being. Hitaishi also connected the project to values such as international mindedness, advocating for open and respectful dialogue about sexual education to break taboos and ensure that adolescents have the knowledge and resources they need to navigate this important stage in their lives.
