Project Description:
Rutam Choksi and Yaksh undertook this Project-Based Learning (PBL) project to address a common classroom challenge—carrying and forgetting markers while moving between boards. Using their understanding of simple machines, they designed and created a zip line system that connected one side of the classroom to the other. The project focused on applying scientific concepts in a practical and innovative way to solve a real-life problem within their immediate environment.
Project Outcome:
As a result of their efforts, Rutam and Yaksh developed a functional marker carrier system that is now regularly used in the classroom. The project demonstrated their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations, showcasing creativity, problem-solving skills, and initiative. It also highlighted their awareness of everyday challenges and their capability to design effective and sustainable solutions.
