Project Outcome: Progress as an intermediate guitarist
Project Description: Jay’s project highlights his progress as an intermediate guitarist and his leadership in the Guitar Club at MLC. Over the past two years, he has developed skills in rock, blues, metal, and punk music, and is preparing for the Trinity Rock & Pop Grade 6 exam. As the club leader, Jay mentored beginners by creating structured lessons and practice routines, helping them develop foundational guitar skills.
He faced challenges in teaching students with different skill levels, but overcame this by breaking down complex techniques and fostering a supportive environment. Under his leadership, the club thrived, with members advancing to intermediate levels. Jay also continued to refine his own skills, showcasing his versatility and dedication to both personal growth and the success of others.
