by Angel Patel
Project Description: Angel self-initiated an 8-month project where she learned Aloha and then created lesson plans to teach it to primary students at a government school during her free time. She conducted simple math tests before and after teaching, showing significant improvement in students’ scores and time to solve worksheets. Angel aimed to help underprivileged students develop an interest in mathematics, believing that understanding the Aloha method could increase their enthusiasm and performance in the subject, benefiting them in the future.
Project Outcome: Students whom she taught were able to score more marks within less time as compared to before learning Aloha.
