by Sameer Bajari
Project Topic: Music Production
At the start of the academic year, Sameer was initially interested in starting an automotive manufacturing corporation but was inspired by an experience with “SoundTrap” to pursue a career in music production, influenced by his love for hip-hop and artists like Kanye West and Metro Boomin’. Despite initial family skepticism, he persisted, releasing his debut EP and album in 2020. The loss of his grandfather prompted reflection, but he resumed his musical journey in mid-2021, gaining recognition with multiple album releases and becoming a verified artist on Spotify by 2022.
In early 2023, he signed with Revibe Worldwide and began earning from his music on platforms like Spotify and YouTube. He focused on his fifth album, MADE IT OUT THE MUD, set for release on his 16th birthday. To differentiate this album, he collaborated with lesser-known artists. Before its release, he published a prelude EP titled, THRU THE MUD, garnering significant views.
Despite challenges with artist collaborations and tracklist adjustments, he aimed for a motivating and inspiring theme. Delaying the album’s release, he promoted it with singles like KING OF THE STREETS and BLACK GLE. With guidance from mentor Tejas Gamit and utilizing a professional studio, he refined his production skills, leading to successful singles like TEAR DROP with label owner Dhaval Gadhvi.
As he enters his fifth year in music in 2024, he plans to release his awaited album and continue exploring various facets of hip-hop.
