Project Description:
Rajveer Lakhani, Pransh Patel, Vincy Sakaria, and Khwaish Sarawagi undertook this whole-class Project-Based Learning (PBL) initiative as part of their Unit of Inquiry on Role Models. The project focused on promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility through the planting and nurturing of vegetable saplings. Inspired by role models who contribute positively to society, the students engaged in a range of learning experiences including a guest speaker session, field visits, research, and expert guidance to understand plant growth and care. They actively participated in planting saplings, maintaining them with the support of the school gardener, and sharing their knowledge with younger students.

Project Outcome:
Through this ongoing project, the students developed a deeper understanding of sustainability and responsible action. Their efforts led to the development of a small kitchen garden, reflecting their commitment to environmental stewardship. The project enhanced their collaboration, research, and practical skills while fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment and community. By teaching younger students and continuing to care for the plants, they are contributing to long-term awareness and impact.
