Project Outcome: Portrait
Project Description: Manya created a portrait of her elder sister, capturing her life’s ambitions and future goals through the artwork. Using graphite pencils as the medium, Manya aimed to emphasize realism, utilizing light and dark tones, as well as highlights, to bring out the depth and emotion in her piece. The artwork was a heartfelt tribute to her sister, who has been a constant source of inspiration. Manya’s sister, who moved to Ahmedabad to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor, worked tirelessly day and night to prepare for the medical entrance exams. Despite living in different countries, their close bond and her sister’s relentless determination to achieve her goals deeply influenced Manya, motivating her to create the portrait as a way to honor her sister’s dedication and hard work. Through this artwork, Manya wanted to represent her sister’s ambitions and let others see the strength and perseverance that define her.
