Project Outcome: Scrap book, charts, reading challenge book, achievement chart and tracking chart in class
Project Description: As part of an ongoing reading initiative that began in October, students were given the option to read 15 books, along with noting the authors’ names and completing a related activity for each. This project aimed to foster a love for reading, enhance comprehension, and encourage creative expression. Students explored a variety of genres and writing styles, expanding their literary exposure and understanding of different perspectives.
Alongside reading, they engaged in creative activities such as illustrations, character diaries, alternate endings, book reviews, and role plays to reflect their understanding and interpretation of each story. Throughout the journey, students will be sharing their observations, the unique and imaginative activities they completed, and the challenges they faced—such as selecting appropriate books, managing time, or understanding complex themes. This reflective sharing not only showcases their reading journey but also highlights their growth in creativity, critical thinking, and perseverance.
