Project Description: This project revolved around researching, designing, and creating fashion inspired by iconic eras such as the 60s, 70s, and 90s. The student explored patterns, styles, and themes characteristic of each decade by sketching unique designs and analyzing historical fashion trends. To deepen her understanding, she interviewed and interacted with fashion designers, gaining valuable industry insights. She also pursued relevant courses and internships to enhance her practical knowledge. A significant part of the project involved studying color theory to understand how it elevates a design’s appeal and emotional impact. Through this in-depth exploration, the student developed a nuanced understanding of fashion evolution, designer influences, and creative expression.
