Project Description: Aahna’s community service project involved four initiatives under the overarching theme of empowering underprivileged and troubled youth.
1. Hope Project: Aahna and her team educated underprivileged children at a shelter home every Saturday for 8 months, focusing on basic subjects and personal development.
2. Project Umeed: They gathered donations from various societies and events to support Jeevan Jyot School, where they conducted workshops to teach new skills to students and distributed the donations.
3. KER (Knowledge, Experience, Reflection): Aahna participated in leadership training to enhance her project management skills and apply them to her initiatives.
4. RiseUp- Empowering Teens: Inspired by the challenges faced by teenagers, Aahna initiated this project to address issues like mental health and teen suicides through surveys and sessions with parents.
Her passion for community service drove these projects, starting with addressing educational disparities and expanding to support and empower teenagers facing social and psychological challenges.
Project Outcome: Empowering underprivileged and troubled youth
