Project Description: The students conducted an in-depth research project on the Shikra, a bird of prey known for its sharp hunting skills and adaptability. They explored various aspects of the bird, including its physical features, natural habitat, preferred biome, and role as a predator within the food chain and food web. Their research extended to analyzing the Shikra’s current conservation status using the IUCN Red List, helping them understand the environmental challenges the species faces. As part of their inquiry, the students also proposed thoughtful conservation measures to protect the Shikra and ensure the preservation of its natural environment. This project demonstrated their curiosity, research skills, and commitment to wildlife conservation.
