Project Outcome:
PPT and Newsletter

Project Description: After the introduction of the biodiversity unit, the child became curious about the Spotted Owlet, prompting her to dive into detailed research using various sources. Her curiosity extended beyond the classroom, leading her to visit Gavier Lake and other natural locations with her parents, where she spent hours observing birds in their natural habitat.

She compiled comprehensive information on the Spotted Owlet’s physical characteristics, habitat, diet, and behaviors. Her findings were effectively presented through a well-organized PowerPoint and an informative newsletter, reflecting both her dedication and her ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

This independent inquiry showcases her intrinsic motivation and eagerness to deepen her understanding of biodiversity. By combining fieldwork with research, she not only expanded her knowledge but also honed her skills in inquiry, critical thinking, and presentation. Her work is a commendable example of learning driven by curiosity and passion.
