Project Outcome: YouTube videos

Project Description: This stop-motion project originated in Grade 7 at MLC, sparked by an online discovery of the animation technique. It began with simple LEGO clips and gradually evolved into more sophisticated short films. Stop-motion, which involves capturing individual frames to simulate movement, proved to be a time-consuming yet highly rewarding process. Initial projects featured LEGO fight scenes, followed by experiments with toy cars, clay, and drawings—each lasting 5 to 10 seconds. As the student’s skills advanced, the focus shifted to fewer but more elaborate animations ranging from 50 seconds to 2 minutes, incorporating LEGO, Hot Wheels, and clay models. Recently, the project expanded to include basic editing techniques such as sound effects and transitions, significantly enhancing the overall quality and storytelling impact of the final creations.
