In Ananya’s entrepreneurial journey to establish a skincare brand, the motivation arose from a profound realization about the ethical implications of traditional skincare products, particularly those involving animal testing. Transitioning to veganism in 2020, Ananya found it morally unacceptable to support such practices, sparking the quest to create a line of natural and cruelty-free skincare products.
The journey began with a series of eight experiments, measuring pH levels, cleansing power, moisture content, and yield, resulting in the successful creation of eight unique soaps with variable bases and oils. Despite initial disinterest in scientific subjects, Ananya’s commitment to quality led to a deep dive into skincare formulation, experimenting with natural ingredients and delving into the preservation of skincare products.
The research and development phase expanded to include market research, business exploration, haircare research, social media and branding research, logo and packaging design, and more. Ananya’s comprehensive 900-page research document reflects over three years of dedicated study from courses worldwide.
Establishing a home skincare lab marked a significant milestone, providing a dedicated space for product development. Ananya initiated a comprehensive product feedback campaign, actively seeking user opinions and refining formulations to create a skincare brand rooted in ethical practices and innovation.
Currently on the verge of launching the skincare brand, Ananya is actively working on certification, finalizing packaging, logo, branding design, and website development. The aim is to offer not just a brand but a narrative rooted in compassion, innovation, and an unwavering dedication to meeting the diverse needs of conscious beauty enthusiasts.
