Project Outcome: TOK Exhibition
Project Description: In this Theory of Knowledge (TOK) exhibition, Heet explored the prompt “Can new knowledge change established values and beliefs?” with a compelling focus on the sciences in the Diploma Programme (DP). Through carefully selected real-life objects and examples, the exhibition examined how groundbreaking scientific discoveries—such as evolution, climate science, or genetic engineering—have historically challenged and reshaped societal norms, cultural values, and long-held beliefs. Heet analyzed the dynamic relationship between knowledge and belief systems, highlighting how advancements in science not only expand our understanding of the world but also provoke ethical debates and re-evaluation of what we consider to be true or acceptable. The exhibition encouraged viewers to reflect on the transformative power of knowledge and the role of science in shaping human perspectives.
