Project Description:
Vedika Patel, Yatika Dasani, and Vyana Parmar undertook this group Project-Based Learning (PBL) task during the unit How the World Works (HTWW). The project focused on designing and creating toys using simple machines to understand how they function in everyday applications. The students applied their knowledge to build purposeful models and explored the working principles behind each toy they created.
Project Outcome:
As a result of their efforts, the group successfully developed interactive toys and demonstrated their functioning to Early Years students. This experience allowed them to simplify complex concepts and engage a younger audience effectively. The project enhanced their creativity, communication, and collaboration skills, while also reinforcing their understanding of simple machines through practical application.
