By: Amaira Jiwani

Project Description:
Amaira Jiwani undertook this individual Project-Based Learning (PBL) project to explore how the stock market functions through the use of demo trading accounts. The project focused on developing an understanding of key financial concepts such as investing, shares, market fluctuations, risk assessment, and decision-making, all without the use of real money. By engaging in simulated trading, Amaira connected theoretical economic concepts to practical experience, allowing for a deeper and more applied understanding of financial markets.

Project Outcome:
Through this project, Amaira developed strong financial literacy and enhanced her analytical and decision-making skills. The use of simulation provided a safe environment to experiment with strategies and understand market behavior. As a result, the project fostered real-world problem-solving abilities and built confidence in interpreting market trends, making it a meaningful and practical learning experience.
