Project Description: This project, undertaken as part of the unit “How The World Works” in a PBL format, involved a student delving deeper into robotics and design technology to create a product that detects holes in underwater oil pipelines, preventing oil spills and protecting marine life. The final product is a device that detects holes in oil pipelines. The student’s empathy towards marine life drove this initiative, aiming to help engineers quickly repair pipelines once a hole is detected, thus safeguarding marine creatures from potential harm.
