Project Description: The project idea was to design a personalized gift item made of cement as part of the Product Design unit. For this, Navya created a cement aroma diffuser to address the client’s relaxation needs amidst a busy schedule. Utilizing PVC sheets, cement, and acrylic paint, the process involved drawing, cutting, molding, pouring cement, drying, sanding, and painting over several days. The resulting diffuser, resembling a mug, offers both functionality and aesthetic appeal. This project was completed as part of the Grade 9 Product Design term 1 summative assessment.
