Project Outcome: Digital Model
Project Description: This project focused on developing a digital model of a vertical farming system to promote sustainable and space-efficient urban agriculture. The model illustrated how crops can be grown in stacked layers using controlled environmental conditions such as artificial lighting, automated irrigation, and climate regulation. By utilizing vertical space and integrating smart farming technologies, the digital model aimed to demonstrate a solution to challenges like limited land availability, water scarcity, and the need for year-round food production. The project emphasized reduced carbon footprint, efficient use of resources, and the potential to bring fresh produce closer to urban populations, offering a glimpse into the future of sustainable food systems.
