Project Description: This project focused on fashion designing through the sustainable practice of upcycling waste clothes into new, customized garments and products. The student aimed to reduce textile waste by implementing zero-waste patterns, using natural dyes, and experimenting with various printing techniques. By integrating environmental awareness with creative expression, the project showcased the student’s commitment to sustainability, design thinking, and craftsmanship. It not only highlighted their innovative approach to fashion but also emphasized the importance of conscious consumption and eco-friendly design practices.
