Project Outcome: Journey in Badminton and Athletics
Project Description: Jiyara has excelled in both badminton and athletics, showcasing remarkable achievements in both fields. In badminton, she secured 3rd place in Khel Mahakumbh 2024 (singles U14), 2nd place in Khel Mahakumbh 2023 (singles U14), and 7th place in the ISSO Nationals 2024. She also won 2nd place in interschool competitions (2023), gold in the Yash Badminton Tournament, and a bronze medal in the ISSO Nationals U14 team event. Additionally, she is participating in the U14 singles event at the state level in Rajkot.
In athletics, Jiyara has earned numerous accolades, including a silver medal in ISSO Nationals for the 80m hurdles, 2nd place in the 600m at Khel Mahakumbh (2023 and 2024), and 3rd place in the 400m at Khel Mahakumbh (2023). She also earned gold in the interschool 600m and 80m hurdles events in 2024 and a bronze in the 4x100m relay. Jiyara was selected for nationals in the 80m hurdles and is preparing for states in the same event.
