Project Outcome: Monologue – Shylock
Project Description: This project reinterpreted the story of Shylock from The Merchant of Venice through his own perspective. By framing his iconic monologue with a personal narration before and after, the piece illuminated Shylock’s struggles, pain, and quest for justice. It aimed to humanize the character, portraying him not merely as a villain, but as a man shaped by prejudice, loss, and vengeance, offering audiences a deeper emotional and moral understanding of his story.
