Project Description:
Mukti Patel worked on an individual Design project focused on researching and developing flat-pack displays. The project explores how display structures can be designed to be easily assembled, disassembled, transported, and stored efficiently.

Project Focus:
The student conducted research on flat-pack design principles, including modularity, ease of assembly, material efficiency, and structural stability. She examined how commercial displays are designed for portability and cost-effectiveness while still maintaining visual appeal and functionality. The process involved ideation, sketching, prototyping, and refining design concepts to create practical display solutions.

Project Outcome:
The final outcome demonstrates an understanding of functional design and practical application in real-world contexts such as retail and exhibitions. Through this project, the student developed skills in research, planning, prototyping, and problem-solving, while gaining insight into how thoughtful design can optimize usability, transportation, and sustainability in product displays.
