Project Description:
Mivaan Prahaladka, Ranveer Bairagra, along with Aaveer Patel, Diyana Nandwani, Rutvi Jain, Nirvaan Shah, and Zivaah Desai, undertook this Project-Based Learning (PBL) project during the unit How the World Works. The students explored the concept of simple machines and extended their learning beyond the classroom by applying it to real-life situations. They worked on creating a lifting machine to demonstrate how effort can be reduced in performing work, as well as a water cleaning device designed to filter river water and address environmental challenges.

Project Outcome:
Through this project, the students successfully created functional models that demonstrated both scientific understanding and practical application. Their work reflected creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to connect classroom learning to real-world issues. The project also fostered collaboration, initiative, and a sense of responsibility towards addressing everyday challenges, making it a meaningful and impactful learning experience.
