Bhamini Jain undertook this individual passion project during Genius Hour as part of the unit Exploration, where students independently chose topics of personal interest. Her project focused on sustainability through recycling, driven by inquiry-based questions and a desire to understand environmental impact. Over the course of approximately one month (10 sessions), Bhamini conducted thorough research, exploring various aspects of recycling and its role in promoting sustainable living.
Project Outcome:
Through this project, Bhamini developed a deeper understanding of sustainability and the importance of responsible waste management. Her inquiry-driven approach strengthened her research and critical thinking skills, while also enhancing her ability to explore topics independently. The project reflected her commitment to environmental awareness and resulted in meaningful learning about how recycling can contribute to a more sustainable future.
