Project Description:
Aahana Shah, Jheel Gulabwani, Arnav Jhawar, Jianna Kothari, and Kriyansh Surana undertook this group student-led PYP Exhibition project to explore the relevance of ancient cooking methods in today’s world. The project focused on understanding how traditional food practices help preserve nutrients and how healthy food choices contribute to both physical and mental well-being. The students researched ancient dietary habits and examined how these practices can be adapted to suit modern lifestyles.

Project Outcome:
As part of their action, the group created a modern dish—a ragi-based bruschetta with traditional toppings, along with peach iced tea—blending ancient wisdom with contemporary presentation. They also organized a student-led sale, with the funds raised being donated to the Zero Hunger initiative. Through this project, the students demonstrated responsibility, creativity, and social awareness, while applying their learning in a meaningful and impactful way.
