This Arts project focuses on composing and producing music inspired by the medieval era, blending historical influences with modern music production techniques.Project Process:
The students explored the characteristics of medieval music and used digital tools to recreate and reinterpret its sound. The composition was recorded using VST3 presets, a sound card, and Cubase. They further enhanced the track by applying VST3 effects during the mixing process.To create a unique fusion, the project also incorporates modern instruments such as electric guitar and bass guitar, adding a contemporary dimension to the traditionally inspired composition.
Project Outcome:
The final outcome is a digitally produced music piece that blends medieval musical elements with modern production and instrumentation. The project demonstrates creativity, technical proficiency in music production, and the ability to merge historical inspiration with present-day sound design.
