Aarna Shah’s individual Arts project focuses on exploring acting through the creation and performance of original monologues. The project is driven by her strong interest in pursuing acting as a future career and builds on her prior experience in narrative writing.
Project Focus:
The project involves understanding the structure and key elements of monologue writing, including character development, emotional depth, voice, and dramatic expression. Aarna is working on writing 7–8 original monologues, each reflecting different characters, situations, and emotions. The process includes drafting, refining, and preparing the monologues for performance, thereby connecting writing with acting practice.
Project Outcome:
The final outcome will be a collection of original monologues that demonstrate both creative writing and performance readiness. Through this project, Aarna is developing skills in storytelling, character creation, expression, and dramatic interpretation, while strengthening her foundation in acting and preparing for future opportunities in the field of performing arts.
