Project Description:
Vaani Agarwal, Mirann Mehta, Ayaan Chhatiawala, Heeva Choksi, Viraj Jindal and Anaya Thakkar, undertook this whole-class Project-Based Learning (PBL) task as part of the Grade 4 Media unit. The project focused on designing an effective media message to support the Grade 1 Waste Management unit. Students worked collaboratively to create engaging and informative content that promoted a location for a field trip connected to waste management, ensuring the message was appropriate and appealing for a younger audience.
Project Outcome:
Through this project, the students successfully developed a meaningful media message that connected classroom learning across grade levels. The activity enhanced their understanding of communication, audience awareness, and environmental responsibility. It also strengthened their collaboration, creativity, and media literacy skills, resulting in a purposeful and impactful learning experience.
