Project Outcome: Extended Essay on Chemistry
Project Description: The student completed her Extended Essay (EE) as part of the IB Diploma Programme (DP) core requirements. Her research focused on exploring methods to remove heavy metals from wastewater, addressing a critical environmental issue related to pollution and sustainability.
Through this investigation, the student examined various chemical and physical techniques for heavy metal removal, analyzed their effectiveness, and evaluated their feasibility in real-world applications. The research demonstrated her strong analytical skills, scientific understanding, and commitment to finding sustainable solutions to global environmental challenges.
This Extended Essay reflected the student’s ability to conduct independent, in-depth research while applying scientific inquiry to tackle an issue of ecological and societal importance.
