Project Description:
After learning about how species survive and how human actions are leading to the destruction of natural habitats, the students researched the critically endangered species, the dugong. They explored its habitat, lifestyle, and the threats it faces due to environmental changes and human interference. As part of the project, they created a detailed model along with an informative poster to spread awareness and educate others about the importance of protecting this species.
Project Outcome:
The project helped students develop strong research and collaborative skills while deepening their understanding of biodiversity and conservation. They were able to effectively communicate their findings through creative representation, increasing awareness about the dugong and the need to protect endangered species and their habitats.
